During my childhood days, I would visit my family and one of my favourite pastimes with my cousins was baking cakes. The whole idea of baking your own cake using homemade butter and freshly laid eggs was very exciting for someone who grew up in the city.

Baking and making pastries and desserts became a passion and I constantly baked for family and friends when I was home.

In 2004 I moved to Sydney, Australia to be with the man of my dreams.

After moving to Sydney, I started baking for family and friends and soon began taking orders and making cakes for special occasions.

In December 2009, I officially founded'Cakes by Rose'. This is a home-based business and I am working on expanding.
